I cannot WAIT to see what the new series are, though, if I had to, I could probably live with the series there are now. Thanks, WSJA!

I didn't renew my subscription after the free 6 months (which I thought was supposed to be a year) mainly due to the delay, I might actually start my subscription back up because of this! :D

Sorry if this is is the wrong place, but will I still be able to get physical copies of the magazine mailed to me? I really hope so. I don't want to read Manga on a computer screen...

Submitted by Lizzy on Wed, 12/12/2012 - 10:11

I am sorry to say this Captskuzz but there is no more print magazine. So, I don't know what else to tell U. But, if U want to keep the print manga U will half to buy the GNs aka Graphic Novels! I buy my manga that way once a year. The GNs I pay 10 dollars per book!

What will you do about the chapters that you will have to skip? How can I get caught up on the skipped chapters when you go simultaneous?

Submitted by John Bae on Fri, 12/14/2012 - 09:56

The same thing we're currently doing with NISEKOI, which is to try and have the 1st GN ready by the time the series joins ALPHA. I can't speak for the other newer series, but for NISEKOI, we released vol 1 the day it debuted, and now I'm currently trying to push out volume 2 by next month.

Will you also do that for series currently in SJAlpha, like Naruto and Bleach?

Submitted by ParnAFD on Wed, 01/09/2013 - 14:02

Naruto and Bleach are only 2 weeks behind. Most likely they'll just do some double sized releases or something like that.

Please tell me one of the new series will be Fairy Tail! it is propably my favorite series not in SJ Alpa.

Submitted by John Bae on Fri, 12/14/2012 - 09:54

I can already tell you it's not FAIRY TALE, since that series is not even a JUMP-affiliated series in Japan. In fact, it's from a completely different publishing company (Shueisha is the company that puts out WSJ, Jump SQ, Young JUMP, V-JUMP, etc). We also don't publish it here in North America.

Submitted by tristanuchiha22 on Fri, 12/14/2012 - 11:55

i am sorry, i had no idea as to that, i just started watching the anime from funamation, and i though it would be a great addition to the WSJA family. i though it was jump affilated due to the fact that funamtion was dubbing it, like dragonball z was. still looking forward to it thought.

Submitted by ParnAFD on Fri, 12/14/2012 - 12:55

A lot of people assume that Fair Tale is Related to Eiichiro Oda since the art style is very reminiscent to One Piece, but the Manga is done by Hiro Mashima who worked under/with Oda-san and he picked up a very similar style.

Submitted by John Bae on Fri, 12/14/2012 - 13:34

Actually, the two have never collaborated or worked as an assistant together.

Will we ever be able to keep the virtual copies of the magazine we purchased? I enjoy going back and reading my old Shonen Jumps or not having to rush through reading my books (which I paid for) because they expire in a year.

Submitted by Hzumbru11 on Wed, 01/02/2013 - 10:53

i hope the add fairy tail

Submitted by tristanuchiha22 on Wed, 01/02/2013 - 19:50

i wish so to but, Fairy Tail is not a WSJ series in Japan. I asked the same thing because the art is riemicient of ONE PIECE, and that the anime is dubbed by Funamtion. However, it is not so. So sorry.

Submitted by Hzumbru11 on Thu, 01/03/2013 - 04:27

i hope they add fairy tail

Submitted by speezyiswhatthe... on Thu, 01/03/2013 - 09:05

Fairy Tail isn't associated with Shonen Jump.

So far, I have been rather satisfied with my account here. I have received the cards in a timely fashion, I haven't had any awkward confrontations with my fellow members save for one in regards to whether or not Shooting Quasar Dragon had been released as a Shonen Jump promo card. (FYI, it has. I have it!) Yeah. I feel things are going well for me on here.
